The blessed Metropolitan Amphilochios Tsoukos dedicated his life to the Fiji Islands in the Pacific, reaching people’s hearts with humility, love, and sacrifice. He built churches, founded a monastery, raised orphans, and ordained priests, planting Orthodoxy where no one expected it.

On the Sunday of Orthodoxy, Metropolitan Nikodimos of Nigeria made a pastoral visit to the Orthodox communities of Imo and Anambra states, with hundreds of faithful participating in the Divine Liturgy. Additionally, he visited the ecclesiastical Regina Memorial Hospital, whose building construction has been completed and is expected to serve thousands of residents in the area.
Another well was established in the Migowi area in Malawi thanks to the generosity of the Fraternity’s donors.
With the funding of the Fraternity, residences for priests are being built in the villages of Masege and Mapogoro, a new church is being erected in Dodoma, the construction of the Cathedral of the Theotokos in Arusha continues, the school of Ibumgo is being renovated, and the Iringa polyclinic is operating. Saint Chrysostom Papasarantopoulos was the driving force behind an entire generation of missionaries. One of them was the blessed Metropolitan Amphilochios Tsoukos, whose journey and contribution are depicted here through the testimony of his collaborator and disciple, Metropolitan Makarios of Nairobi.
2025 proved to be a milestone year for the Orthodox Missionary Fraternity: the canonization of our founder, Fr. Chrysostomos Papasarantopoulos, coincided with intensive activity across three continents, remittances of 514,000 euros to 31 mission outposts, and 39 infrastructure projects for the world’s most vulnerable communities.

A four-year effort was successfully completed with the inauguration of a new Orthodox school in the Diocese of Bukoba, which was built with funding from a donor from the Czech Republic through the Fraternity.
At two in the morning, two-year-old Barbara was found abandoned in the trash bins. She found refuge in the orphanage of our Holy Diocese and now needs our care!
