Missionary Activities in the Holy Metropolis of Arusha
With the funding of the Fraternity, residences for priests are being built in the villages of Masege and Mapogoro, a new church is being erected in Dodoma, the construction of the Cathedral of the Theotokos in Arusha continues, the school of Ibumgo is being renovated, and the Iringa polyclinic is operating. Missionary and School Visits to the Fraternity
Many laborers in the vineyard of the Orthodox Mission have recently visited our Fraternity: bishops from Africa, Tanzania, and Mexico, who reported on the progress of their work and received the scheduled financial support. Concurrently, students from the 2nd Junior High School of Toumba were given a tour of our African Art Exhibition.

Saint Chrysostomos Papasarantopoulos was the driving force behind an entire generation of missionaries. One of them was the blessed Metropolitan Amphilochios Tsoukos, whose journey and contribution are presented here through the testimony of his collaborator and disciple, Metropolitan Makarios of Nairobi.
Catechists, the Most Essential for the Mission
Catechesis is the heart of the Mission. This was highlighted by the Clergy-Laity Assembly of the Archdiocesan District of Geita in Western Tanzania, where priests and trustees emphatically expressed the need for training new Catechists. Bishop Chrysostomos of Bukoba calls upon volunteer Theologians to offer this humble but essential work.
Annual Report 2025
2025 proved to be a milestone year for the Orthodox Missionary Fraternity: the canonization of our founder, Fr. Chrysostomos Papasarantopoulos, coincided with intensive activity across three continents, remittances of 514,000 euros to 31 mission outposts, and 39 infrastructure projects for the world’s most vulnerable communities.
