Words seem poor to express our gratitude for the long-standing and multidimensional offer of the Brotherhood of Orthodox Foreign Missionary Work of Thessaloniki to the missions all over the world. In the sixty years of operation, having as spiritual founder the blessed and pioneering missionary Archimandrite Fr. Chrysostomos Papasartopoulos and the blessed physician Mr. Panagiotis Papadimitrakopoulos, the scope of the Brotherhood’s action has expanded to all levels of the spiritual and charitable work of the Orthodox missions.
The love of the President and Lord Orphanologist Mr. Charalambos Metallidis, the Vice President and poet of the Mission Mr. Nostis Psarras and all the members becomes food for the reared, clean water for the thirsty, balm for the wounds of the sick and comfort for the persecuted.
The support of the Brotherhood in particular to the work of the Holy Diocese of Arusha and Central Tanzania is enormous. Since 2017 to date, 7 Holy Churches have been erected, more than fifteen wells have been drilled and the daily and uninterrupted operation of our polyclinic at the Quintamali Missionary Centre is supported.
I hope that the Most Merciful God will bless and increase the work of the Brotherhood for the sake of the Orthodox Mission.
