Konstantinos Christomanos, a Tireless Servant of the Mission

Dear Brother Konstantine Christomanos,

On June 2, 2026, your blessed earthly life came to an end, yet simultaneously began a new journey for your pure, radiant soul towards the heavenly eternity of the Kingdom of the Holy Triune God.

With due emotion, the Fraternity of Orthodox External Mission, of which you were a regular member for decades and served on its Board of Directors, bids you farewell.

You served for years as a professor at the Orthodox Ecclesiastical School “Archbishop Makarios III” in Nairobi, Kenya, and subsequently as a humble deacon in Sierra Leone.

You were such a compassionate, tireless servant of the Mission, with an unsurpassed selfless love for our suffering African brethren. In particular, you offered the tears of emotion from the wellspring of your heart to the orphaned and hungry children of Africa.

Blessed journey to eternity.
