Missionaries Visit the Fraternity’s Offices

Recently, we had the distinct pleasure of a visit to the offices of the Orthodox Mission Fraternity by the highly experienced and effective Bishop Prodromos of Toliara. His Grace informed us about the progress of the projects funded by our Fraternity. Specifically, he announced the completion of the Church of Saint Chrysostom Papasarantopoulos and the construction of a well in the same city, as well as the commencement of works for a small clinic in the new Metropolitan Multicenter, opposite the Church.

Subsequently, we were visited by Metropolitan Theodosios of Kinshasa, who once again expressed his warm gratitude for the continuous support of the Theological School and for the Fraternity’s funding of the new website for the Orthodox University of Kinshasa. He also informed us about the construction of the School in honor of the late Metropolitan Nikephoros of Kinshasa and the digging of a well in the parish of Saint Gerasimos, projects entirely undertaken by the Fraternity. Two buildings have already been erected, and the school operates with approximately 50 children, while work continues at a rapid pace.

Finally, on Thursday, October 15, we were visited by the active Cretan priest Fr. Vasileios Papadakis, head of the Orthodox Mission Office of the Holy Metropolis of Rethymno. The Fraternity has been working closely with Fr. Vasileios in recent years on sending containers to the Holy Metropolis of Kananga and on other current missionary issues.

We sincerely thank everyone for the love they show towards the Fraternity and for our constructive cooperation in advancing the work of God.
