Educational Visit of Primary School Students to the African Art Exhibition
On Wednesday, March 11, 2026, the Orthodox Missionary Fraternity had the pleasure of welcoming to its offices the students of the 3rd grade of the 1st Primary School of Panorama, as part of the Active Citizen Actions and Skills Workshops.
During the visit, the children watched an informative video about the multifaceted work of Orthodox missionaries around the world. They learned how, through their actions, wells for clean water, schools, medical centers, and hospitals are established, soup kitchens are organized, and medical and pharmaceutical aid is provided to thousands of people facing difficult living conditions. Through dialogue and participation, the children realized that even the smallest act of love can offer hope and dignity to a fellow human being.
This was followed by a visit to the Fraternity’s African Art Exhibition, where students had the opportunity to see up close objects, costumes, and musical instruments from various African countries. Through this experiential learning, they became acquainted with elements of a different culture and discussed the importance of respecting diversity and the unity of all people under the light of Christ’s love.
The children were enthusiastic about the visit and stated:
- “I liked seeing how they help children in Africa and build schools.”
- “I learned that many villages can be saved with one well.”
- “I would also like to help children who do not have the same things as us.”
The Fraternity warmly thanks the teachers and students for their interest and participation, which demonstrates that the virtue of love can be cultivated early in the hearts of children.
