The Metropolitan of Tamiatheos at Our Fraternity

Last week, our Fraternity had the distinct pleasure of welcoming His Eminence Metropolitan Germanos of Tamiatheos, a hierarch of the Patriarchate of Alexandria.

His Eminence informed us about the operation of the Patriarchal School “Saint Athanasius,” of which he serves as Dean. At least 12 young men from various regions of Africa are studying at the School, diligently preparing to become the future cadres, deacons, and clergy of our Patriarchate.

The Orthodox Missionary Fraternity, recognizing the importance of educating new missionary personnel, has for many years supported the Patriarchal School with monthly financial aid during its operational months. In this way, we actively contribute to the immense and multifaceted missionary work of His Beatitude Patriarch Theodore of Alexandria and the venerable Hierarchs of the Second-Throned Church.
