Visit of Bishop Nektarios of Gulu

The Orthodox Missionary Fraternity had the honor of hosting His Grace Bishop Nektarios of Gulu and Northeastern Uganda at its premises.

The diligent hierarch thanked the Fraternity for its continuous support in his missionary work, and especially for the construction of seven wells which it has funded in his diocese.

Furthermore, the former president of the Fraternity, Dimitrios Sotirkos, offered three large iconostasis icons for the Holy Church of Saint Nicholas, while the Fraternity arranged for the purchase of oil lamps for the new church.

We wholeheartedly pray that the Lord grants strength to His Grace, so that he may continue his God-pleasing work of evangelizing the peoples with the same missionary zeal.
