The devastating damage in the jungle

For three months now we have been facing a serious operational problem in our Mission whereabouts. The consecutive storms that hit our area have caused major damage. One of the calamities is this: the lake from which they drew water to distribute to the people has been filled with sand. There is no more water, the pipes are all clogged. As a consequence, there is no water in the city center, where the Mission Center is also located.

Everything has stopped. Without water, nothing works and we have to run around to find water. Schools cannot operate, children have to run to collect water for sanitary purposes, and so on… We don’t even have drinking water. We are pleading with the Almighty God for rain so that we can have water for two or three days.

My dear brothers, in a month or two the rain period will stop and it will be very difficult for us to operate. For this reason, we are making an appeal to your love and ask for your help to drill a well/borehole in the Mission yard so that we can start operating again. Water is life.

The cost for a borehole drill is estimated at 9.500 euro.

My beloved brothers, I pray that Almighty God will bestow His Grace upon us so that we can continue our missionary work.
