Dear friends of the Mission, First of all, for the umpteenth time I wish to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your unconditional material, moral and especially prayerful support for the missionary work of our Holy Metropolis. I warmly thank you for your love and for your kind donation of 7,500 euros to our Metropolis to cover the many operational needs for the maintenance and continuation of our missionary work in this fruitful missionary province of the Patriarchate of Alexandria. With this letter, I also wish to request your assistance for the drilling of a well in the village of Embremai, Ghana. In this village, we have just completed the construction of a new primary school, which will provide free education to local children who would otherwise probably remain uneducated. The building complex is ready, but we need to drill a borehole to give the pupils access to drinking water. The total cost of drilling and equipment is 4,000 euros.
I know that the economic conditions are extremely difficult and often prohibitive. However, drawing courage from your own love for the Mission, I hope for your positive response to our request for help for the young children of the school. With love in Christ,
