Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, Christ is risen! I wish that the Light of our Lord’s Resurrection may flood the souls of all and that His joy may fill our hearts. I pray that His peace may prevail on earth. Thank you for the new donation from the Orthodox Foreign Missionary Brotherhood for the immediate needs of our two orphanages, girls & boys. As you know these children were picked up off the streets. I wish we had the ability to take more under the care of the Orthodox Church. I apologize for my inability to send more frequent updates. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.
So here, thank God, it was beautiful during Holy Week and Holy Easter. Simple and solemn… We even had services on Good Friday at the Orphanage Church, but on the night of the Resurrection we all went to Calcutta to celebrate at the Greek Orthodox Church of Our Saviour Jesus Christ. Then at noon on Easter we had a common meal at the Orphanage. I was quite tired with the preparations and coordination, but the happy faces of the children are my great reward.
