Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! I would like to inform you that we have received the donation you sent us for the poor children’s orphanage and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your money arrived at the most opportune time, when we were facing a great problem of hunger in our schools. We were able to buy food (cornmeal, beans, sweet potatoes, etc.) for the children studying in our Orthodox schools. In each school, the children are numbered as follows:
- Nakyaka High School, 210 students
- Nakyaka Primary School, 384 students
- Nawango Primary School, 178 students
- Nawango Kindergarten, 76 children
All together there are 848 students who are receiving free meals for the 2014 academic year. Therefore, we ask your Brotherhood to continue to help us so that we are able to provide free meals to our poor children.
