The Busoga orphans are waiting for our help

Dear brothers,

Rejoice in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! I am pleased to inform you that we have received the sum of three thousand (3,000) euros, which you sent us for the poor children’s request.

We thank most sincerely the Brotherhood and our friends there in Thessaloniki and all over Greece, who support the Lord’s works here in eastern Uganda.

We have orphans and poor children who wish to go to school, but we have them on hold because we cannot do it alone without your valuable help.

I would also like to inform you that on October 23, in memory of St. James the Adelphant, we celebrated the “Orthodox Children’s Day”. His Eminence, Metropolitan Jonah visited us and celebrated the Divine Liturgy with five priests and three deacons. We dedicated that day to the little children and many gathered from the surrounding communities to feel the Orthodoxy in them.

I hope that God will always bless you, your colleagues and your families. We always have you in our daily prayers. Amen.

High Priestly Commissioner
