We inform our dear friends of the Mission that with the sensitivity of our donors, another 10,000 euros have already been collected, which will soon be sent to support our orphanages. A thank you alone is not enough for your valuable contribution. In these difficult economic times, it is a great relief for us to know that you are by our side in our struggle, to feel that you are by our side, even though you are far away, in keeping the smiles and hope of our orphaned boys and girls alive. We feel that you share our anxiety about the present and future of the Mission’s charitable work in India, work that we are trying to preserve from the shocks of the economic crisis. The value of your obolus is invaluable, it is another “stone” to the street children, the midday soup kitchen to the homeless and disabled, our 5 dispensaries and 5 schools in remote poor villages. But we were forced to close 4 clinics. Unfortunately we had no other choice. In this economic hardship and uncertainty that each of you may be experiencing in your personal lives, that you choose once again to support us shows your generosity of heart and your confidence in the proper stewardship of your donation.
