There are children who walk miles every morning to reach a school, which may even be housed in a straw hut, just to get an education.
There are areas where education is the only asset that can give a child a real opportunity for a better future, away from the vicious cycle of poverty and illiteracy.
It is in such areas that, with your loving help, the Fraternity of Orthodox Mission funds the construction of school buildings, while also supporting the hiring of local teachers and the provision of books and stationery, to offer equal opportunities to these children.
In Morogoro, Tanzania; Toliara, Madagascar; Accra, Ghana; and Kolkata, India, the Mission builds schools of all levels to cover the educational needs of poor children.
