It not only informs us historically about the spread of the Gospel which was carried out in every – God-allowable – way and at every cost by the Apostles, but it makes the “Acts of the Apostles” a model and a missionary manual for all of us who are more or less active in this ministry…

The basic characteristic of a clergyman should be the spirit of sacrifice and not of inactivity. This means that the clergyman must sacrifice himself for the Church and not sacrifice the Church for himself. Keep your ears open for every contribution, wherever it comes from, because there is always something to learn from everyone…

We attach particular importance to the construction of Holy Churches, since for us Orthodox, along with the preaching of the holy Gospel, Divine Worship and even the Divine Liturgy is essential. The natives are simple people, with a strong religious feeling, and they are more impressed by the epiphany that the Orthodox Divine Worship offers than by the chattering and shouting of Christians of other denominations…
