The gift of water

Dear Friends of the Mission,

Rejoice in the Lord!

With great joy I come to you today to thank you for your love towards the beloved flock of our Holy Metropolis of Kananga.

A few months ago, I visited your offices and presented to you an issue that was terribly troubling our Holy Metropolis, and I asked for your help. The issue was the lack of clean and drinking water, which presented a great difficulty in our daily lives. You promised to help, and indeed you did. You provided the amount needed to build the well, and today we have a well that provides water to the center of our Metropolis. Water is a divine blessing, water is life.

My dear President and members, the children of our schools “Light of Nations” can now drink water, and our works from the mission center can be accomplished thanks to this valuable act of love from the Orthodox Foreign Mission Brotherhood.

We warmly thank you for this love that you show to us, to the work of the Metropolis, to the Work of God. We pray that Almighty God blesses your works and your families. May such acts of love continue for the glory of God because the needs in this great work of the Mission never end. May God grant this through the intercessions of our Mother Mary and All the Saints.
