60 years of continuous giving and love.
60 years of peace to the missionaries of Africa, Asia, Oceania, all over the world.
60 years next to our fellow human beings in pain.
Next to the poor, the homeless, the sick and the imprisoned. Next to the children of Africa with their beautiful and meaningful expressive eyes.
The Orthodox Foreign Missionary Brotherhood has supported in its own way all that I have mentioned above.
Building Churches so that people can have a place of prayer and worship to God.
Building schools, offering this precious commodity of education to the children of Africa.
Creating clinics – Dispensaries, a practical presence next to thousands of our fellow patients, a place where they find free care and medicines, relief and treatment from tropical diseases.
Opening wells through which thousands of children, young and old, quench their thirst every day.
Offering soup kitchens with much-needed food to thousands of our half-dead fellow human beings.
Dear readers, it is difficult to describe all that the Orthodox Foreign Missionary Brotherhood has offered during these 60 years. What all of you who love and support the work of the Foreign Mission have offered.
As your least brother I want to say a big thank you to all of you, the unsung heroes, the peace-loving workers in the vineyard of Africa.
We thank you for the support you offer to the Brotherhood of Orthodox Foreign Mission because your offering through the Brotherhood reaches all over the world and the Diocese of Toliara and South Madagascar.
Within four years he built five Holy Temples, three Dispensaries, two schools, fifteen wells and reservoirs, soup kitchens and much more.
I am sincerely indebted to the Board and to all of you who continue to support this blessed effort.
I am grateful to all of you who daily hear in your hearts the first words of the Risen Christ, “You are always making disciples of the nations.” Thank you for walking alongside us all these years. Your hand, your prayer, is our support in our difficulties.
Thanks to you, thousands of children smile, thousands of children quench their thirst, thousands of people are healed.
