With the Annunciation of the Most Holy Theotokos, the Mystery of God’s Providence, the plan of God’s love for the salvation of the world, begins to unfold. This is a great and supernatural event. “Which human being can grasp the infinite depth of the Mystery of the Annunciation? Before the miracle of the Annunciation, the so-called right reasoning suffers. Human understanding and scientific knowledge cannot possibly explain something that goes beyond human limits. People of God though approach it with heartfelt faith and infinite gratitude to His mercy. God, in the person of the Virgin Mary, places a bridge between heaven and earth. The Theotokos becomes a lofty ladder for the incarnation of God and the sanctification of man.
With the help of the Orthodox Missionary Fraternity, we are building the Sacred Church of the Annunciation of the Theotokos in the suburbs of Kolwezi.
