Dear Friends of the Mission, Saturday, September 23, marked the 20th anniversary of the foundation of the Metropolis (then diocese) of Nigeria. For many years, the Orthodox Foreign Missionary Brotherhood has stood by our side and supported us in every step of our ministry in various ways, with willingness, understanding of our problems, struggles and anxieties. By God’s grace, over the years we have built a brotherly relationship, founded on mutual respect and trust. Despite the objectively adverse conditions and the scope of the Brotherhood’s activities, our Metropolis has been and continues to be the recipient of your love and goodwill.
On behalf of all of us, clergy and laity, I address a big thank you and express to you, your colleagues and members, as well as to the anonymous and anonymous donors, our deep gratitude for your catalytic presence in the life of our local Church. We earnestly pray that the Lord will continue to sustain your life and your multifaceted and meaningful activities, granting you health and longevity. We ask for the prayers of all of you. With grateful hearts and love of Christ
† Alexander of Nigeria
