Dear Friends of the Mission, We would like to express our sincere thanks for the inclusion of needy students of our diocese in the Educational Adoption program. Without this support, the studies of these young people would never have taken place, due to the well-known financial difficulties that prevail and are almost permanent. It is sad to see children who have the intellectual capacity to pursue higher studies, have their aspirations for a better tomorrow cut off due to financial constraints.
We have many examples, because of the number of students graduating each year from our 70 schools, who ask us for financial support. Of course, we cannot respond to all of them, so we are indebted to you for taking on this “sacred duty” and helping this young people to continue with hope and courage in this difficult struggle of life. The great thing is that by your choice, this financial support is offered to them through the Orthodox mission and not through other agencies. As we have been informed, there are many agencies that may have an international scope, but do not have the seal and guarantee of the Orthodox Church.
