With the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Blessings of the Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, Mr. Theodore and the unswerving care of His Eminence, Metropolitan of Irinople, Mr. Demetrios, added to the rich account of the construction of two High Schools, three Primary Schools and a Kindergarten, the completion of the Primary School “St. Mark’s” in the village of Igogo in the Iriga Region of Tanzania was added to the rich account of the construction of two High Schools, three Primary Schools and a Kindergarten, the completion of the Primary School “St. Mark’s” in the village of Igogo in the Iriga Region of Tanzania. Of course, with regard to the rich missionary work of His Eminence, the above are only a few. However, his sensitivity and great love for the poor and suffering children of his pastoral responsibility must be emphasized. The responsibility of completing the work was in the missionary ministry of Archimandrite Photios Hatziantoniou, who, for a sufficient period of time, has been active in the aforementioned Iriga region. May the holy God have glory, because He inspired the members of the Board of Directors of the Orthodox Foreign Missionary Brotherhood to show extreme sensitivity and to finance this important project, the “St. Mark’s” Primary School, with the amount of 25.000 euros and thus, with this brave act of love, to put an end to the suffering of hundreds of children, who had to walk fifteen kilometres every day, with many dangers, to go to the School of the neighbouring village of Magubiki. Dear readers are requested to become partakers of the great sacrificial offer of His Eminence and his associates for the poor children, by praying and supporting in various ways for the further increase of such works, which are very useful for the progress of the Orthodox Mission to our brothers and sisters in Tazania.
