It is with great emotion that our Brotherhood participates in the construction of an orphanage in the capital of Madagascar, Antananarivo.
As you know, in recent years there has been a nursery in the city of Manchukuo, where young mothers anonymously hand over their babies, which they cannot afford to raise. There these infants find warmth under the care of Theophilos Bishop Ignatius.
But the babies are growing and it is necessary to relocate it to another place, so that the nursery can accept more babies, but the existing ones should not be left without a home.
For this reason the construction of the orphanage in Antananarivo was started. A pious donor from Thessaloniki has undertaken to fund the first of the three wings of the project.
We hope that the Most Merciful God will bless her according to her will and that he will bring forth other donors for the good works of the Mission around the world.
