Update from Fr. John Kiboukas

By this letter I wish to inform you of the situation we are in.

But first I would like to thank you for κ. Katerina Alexandrou , who came and stayed with us for twelve days. Also thank you for sisters Konstantina and Ourania Tzimoulis from Kastoria. All three gave us great courage with their presence here. We think they left with good impressions. Regarding the projects funded by the Brotherhood, namely the health centre and the church, the work is continuing as usual and we thank you for the amount of thirty thousand euros (30,000€) that you sent us to continue the work. By Friday (14/8) we will have the roof of the Health Centre put on and we will send you pictures afterwards. We also received three thousand euros (€3,000) through Mrs. Katerina for the baptisms that took place on August 5. We sent you for sixteen children. We will give the other names at the next baptism. We have a serious problem.

We are short of food and the situation is very worrying. Our everyday food, namely corn, has gone up in price a lot and we are having a hard time feeding the many mouths we care for. We ask for your support. With much love Fr. John Kiboukas
