Visit of Bishop Timotheos of Assos to the Fraternity

On Wednesday, May 14th, we had the special blessing of welcoming to the offices of the Orthodox Missionary Fraternity the ever-active and philhellenic Amerindian, Bishop Timothy of Assos. The Fraternity maintains a long-standing spiritual bond with His Grace and steadfastly supports his multifaceted missionary work, both morally and materially.

During his visit, His Grace briefed the President and Vice President of the Fraternity on his broader missionary activities, as well as on the progress of the construction work of the Holy Church of Saint Athanasius in Serete, Colombia. This project, which is nearing completion, is funded by the Fraternity.

From the depths of our hearts, we pray that the Lord may strengthen the work of this active bishop, increase his flock, and establish it firmly within the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church of Christ.
