A new well for the people of Kananga
Clean water, free of germs, mud and dirt is taken for granted in Greece and other countries of the “developed” western civilization. But it is a matter of prayer in African countries. Our Fraternity members, responding to the needs and appeals of our experienced missionaries, are highly invested in the construction of boreholes and wells.
Therefore, we are pleased to announce the completion of a new borehole and construction of a stand-alone electricity-powered well in Kananga, where after last year’s devastating floods the need for clean water became pressing. The Orthodox Missionary Fraternity funded this project with 9,500 euros.
We are grateful to Metropolitan Chariton of Kanaga, who despite the difficulties, responded with technical competence for the execution of this project.
