On Sunday, December 3, the Brotherhood of Orthodox Foreign Mission, despite the adverse and difficult weather conditions, sent, with its young people as protagonists, two containers from its warehouse in Filiro, consisting of more than 30 tons of humanitarian aid.
The recipients were the Holy Metropolis of Katanga, led by His Eminence Metropolitan Meletios and His Grace Bishop Kosmas, and the parish of Our Lady of Plamen in Bulgaria, with Fr.Seraphim as parish priest, to be distributed to an orphanage and a children’s hospital in the region.
We would like to thank the donors and volunteers of the Brotherhood and those from various parts of Greece (Drama, Crete, Athens and Kavala), parishes, monasteries and believers, who offered valuable goods that were included in the missions.
We hope that our Lord Jesus Christ will reward a hundredfold and inherit eternal life, as he assures us: “a hundredfold shall be received and shall inherit eternal life” (Matt. 19:29) to those who in any way contributed to the completion of this particular ministry.
