On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the founding of our Fraternity in 1963, it is with holy emotion that we invite you to an event of honour and remembrance for the pioneering Missionaries of Africa:
- π. Nicodemus Sarika,
- π. Chrysostomos Papasartopoulos,
- π. Obadiah Basajakitalo,
- Fr. Sosthenes Kiyonga.
The event will take place on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at 6 p.m. in the Ceremonial Hall of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
The monsignors of Nairobi, Archpriests Macarius of Nairobi, Agathonikos of Arusha, Silvestros of Gidzas and Chrysostom of Bukoba will speak.
The event will be accompanied by the youth choir of I.M. Nea Krini and Kalamaria, the choir “Lychnos” and the choir of Christian Hope.
In the morning of the same day there will be an Archpriest’s Collect in Achiropoito and a treat will follow at the offices of the Brotherhood.
