On Sunday 9 October, the friends of the Orthodox Foreign Missionary Brotherhood had the opportunity to welcome His Eminence Metropolitan Myron of New Zealand. His Eminence together with Fr. Meletios Pandits screened a beautiful documentary about the mission in Fiji entitled “Hello Orthodox”. He then spoke about the experiences, problems and miracles that occur in the Pacific Ocean islands, noting the invaluable contribution of Elder Amphilochios Tsukos as well as the early Fijian Orthodox priests, with emphasis on the missionary work of the late Fr. Barnabas Nair.
