The Mission in Central Tanzania

On Orthodox Sunday, March 13, the Brotherhood of Orthodox Foreign Mission organized an event dedicated to the Central Tanzanian Mission. The guest was the Most Reverend Bishop Agathonikos of Arusha, who was accompanied by the First Bishop of the Diocese, Fr. Porphyry and the Deacon Fr. Maximus. With directness and infectiousness the Bishop conveyed to the friends of the Mission his thanks for the support provided by the Brotherhood for the construction of Holy Churches, schools, the drilling of boreholes, the provision of rations to orphans and hungry children, as well as for the program of operational support of the clinic in Kidamali in the amount of 2,000 euros per month. He then delved into the ways of cultivating the missionary spirit and the conditions for the success of evangelical work in Africa.
