The Orthodox Mission in Southern Madagascar
On Sunday, June 13, 2021, at 10.30 in the morning, we are pleased to invite you to our first gathering with physical presence, with guest speaker Fr. Polycarp Ajananitis from the Holy Diocese of Toliara, Southern Madagascar.
Fr. Polycarp has worked in missionary work in Madagascar for more than 10 years and now serves as the first chaplain in the south of this island with its unique cultural and geographical physiognomy. He will join us to take us on a journey into the dreams and struggles of the few thousand Orthodox Malagasy tribal people.
Bishop Silvestros of Gulu will also attend the meeting, who will address us and inform us about the developments of the Orthodox Mission in Eastern Uganda.
The event will take place in the atrium of the Holy Baptist Church on Mackenzie King Street. There will be a fellowship in the Church and a treat for all in attendance.
