Angelos Anastasiades at the Charity Idols for the Foreign Mission

Charity Idols is a modern non-profit organization that, motivated by social sensitivity, collects sports memorabilia, personal items of celebrities and other goods, which are then put up for sale in online auctions. The proceeds of the auction are donated to the charities that the donor of these goods chooses to support. The leading Greek veteran international footballer and current coach, Mr. Angelos Anastasiadis, has chosen to donate items from his sporting and coaching career, which has seen him become Greek champion and Greek Cup winner, to support the work of the Orthodox Foreign Mission. We thank him wholeheartedly for this move, which expresses his interest and love for the struggle of Orthodox missionaries. We hope that he will find other imitators, so that the Greek public will be sensitized and the purpose of the Foreign Mission will be strengthened, for the glory of God and the salvation of souls.
