This Tuesday, let us give Christ to those who seek him

Tuesday 2 December. It’s Giving Tuesday, the global day of giving! A day when many non-profit organizations will join their voices and call for a different approach to the December consumer frenzy. This Tuesday, let’s pause and consider not what we can take but what we can give. What is the greatest gift we can give someone at a minimal cost? A t-shirt, a cell phone, an ipod, or is it the chance at eternal salvation? In the past 12 months, 1,461 Friends of the Mission have supported the preaching and charitable work of the Orthodox Church around the world, giving those who seek Christ the opportunity to discover Him as their personal Savior and Redeemer. Thank you for this! Without your help, the Orthodox Mission could not function. Missionaries could not travel to remote areas, oversee the running of schools, organize theological seminars, or run clinics. Without your assistance, soup kitchens for the poor and educational scholarships would be a thing of the past. Without your love, God’s word could not reach places today where it has never been heard before. All of these efforts often create financial demands that are constant and pressing. It would be a great relief to us if you could support us with a monthly subscription of €10.

By choosing the amount that suits you and the country you wish to support, you can ensure that the work of the Orthodox Foreign Mission to the nations will find in you a steady supporter.
