The two Fitzgians in Greece for their ordination

The two Orthodox Christians from Fiji, Barnabas and George, are already in Greece with their wives. Our two brothers have come to Greece together with the Bishop of New Zealand, Mr. Amphilochios, to receive the charism of the priesthood. On Sunday 29 May 2011 they are to receive the first degree of the priesthood, being ordained deacons at the Archangel Michael Tharri Monastery in Rhodes. As we have announced, on Pentecost Sunday 12 and Holy Spirit Monday 13 June we will have the spiritual joy of attending and participating in their ordinations to the priesthood, which will take place in Thessaloniki, at the Holy Metropolitan Church of St. Gregory Palamas and the Holy Church of Saints Constantine and Helen of Hippodrome, respectively. Once again Thessaloniki will offer the Temples where the Holy Spirit descending will raise two Orthodox of the Fiji New Mission to the highest ministry of the priesthood. We wish to the Lord Jesus Christ that He may claim them to minister at the altar of Temples and souls and preach with boldness the word of the Cross and Resurrection, the Orthodox Church.
