In Nigeria, with the encouragement of Mons. With the encouragement of the Bishop of Nigeria, Mr. Alexander, and the assumption of the costs by Archbishop Kallistratos Lyrakis, our Brotherhood is building the Holy Church of St. Christopher in a rural area of Nigeria, in order to house the worship needs of our Nigerian Orthodox brothers and sisters. The 650 square metre church has been budgeted at €110,000, of which €100,000 has already been paid. The Church is close to completion, while some architectural details are still pending. The project was completed in November 2011 and the church was inaugurated on 17 February 2012 by the Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, Theodore Theodore.
