Participation in the Book Fair 2009

This year we used another way to spread the message of missionary work to our fellow citizens. We participated in the book fair! In June, during the week of the book fair on the beach of Thessaloniki, we organized a stand and distributed information material. The posters, maps, magazines and brochures we distributed, as well as the discussion with the people were a source of information and reflection. The response of the people was very positive and the willingness of most of them to learn showed that we need to make even more efforts in the field of information. In the stressful consumer society we live in, man’s interest in his fellow man has not been lost. Everyday life covers it up, but inside every one of us longs to come into communion with our fellow man, however far away he may be, and to help. It was an effort that provided our fellow citizens with information and us with support!
