The Rev. Metropolitan Daniel of Accra attended the meeting of the Orthodox Foreign Missionary Brotherhood on Sunday, December 8, 2024 and presented the work carried
His Eminence referred to the presence and development of Orthodoxy in the islands of the South Pacific Ocean, the holy churches that have been built and the orphanage that cares for young children in Laoutoka.
He spoke about the offerings and projects of the Brotherhood through the creation of wells, holy temples, medical clinics, schools and the computer school. He also spoke about the catechisms and group baptisms, the daily difficulties and the spread of Orthodoxy.
He thanked the Brotherhood for its support and service for 60 years to the suffering peoples of Africa and especially to the country of Ethiopia.
