Humanitarian aid

Hunger in Third World countries is a daily experience for many people. In the face of their suffering, Orthodox missionaries cannot close their eyes. They distribute food, clothes, school supplies, which are collected with your help.

In Filiro, Thessaloniki, our Brotherhood collects many items every day: from clothes, food and toys to medical equipment, furniture and ecclesiastical items. All of this is packed and loaded into containers for various missionary teams, such as those in Sierra Leone, Madagascar, Malawi, Congo, Burundi, Malawi, Congo and Burundi. In 2013, 3 containers of humanitarian aid with a total volume of 225 cubic metres were sent in 2013.
