Scholarships

Travelling to some parts of Africa, we see that while most children in the rest of the world find themselves in a welcoming classroom during the morning hours, there children are working hard on the streets because they have no money to pay their school fees or there is no school infrastructure in their area. In fact, they are considered lucky when they can attend classes in a makeshift thatched hut or an unfinished training facility.

Understanding the importance of education, the Orthodox Mission offers scholarships to young students, responding to their thirst for learning. After all, education is even more necessary in these countries in order for them to have educated and capable citizens so that they can develop.

How the programme works

The Scholarships programme is an educational support programme for African children. This is a new programme, replacing the older Educational Adoption programme.

Through this, you can also support a student to go to school with a one-off payment of €300. Each student receives the scholarship for one school year and the donor is not obliged to continue the next year.

If you would like to join the Programme, please fill in the form below.
